The pace of Silicon Valley drives El Caminos on El Camino.

A narrative of a quick moving car named road on the major road named road. The car that is not a car yet a truck, a collector's truck with its own website and fan club and models of itself in the gas stations on Highway 5 from LA to the bay area. A piece of Americana - now an icon - remembered in conjunction with the moment in the sun of the dot com firms and the gold rush of the year 2000 now all history.

Other paintings in this exhibit explain some of Gittelsohn's personal spoor from sprouting a new suburban life to the magnification of the here and not here. Surfacing and disappearing we are nouns and we are not.
